The logo is inspired by Ted Roger’s quote “The best is yet to come”. Looking to the future and with astronaut’s helmet looking right towards the stars. It’s hard for people who are new to the area with little information and advertising online most advertising for downtown Nanaimo is done by word of mouth. Kick the bucket is a multi-platform application that helps people create lists of experiences to do before they well, “kick the bucket”. Users can access it through a website or an app. It is humorous, inspirational, and an experience giving the platform that helps people get out of their comfort zones and try new things. Kick The Bucket is something everyone can share with close friends, do in groups or keep private. It works for a variety of different people, with fun weekend lists to world class adventure lists. Kick The Bucket works to challenge people of all kinds while also encouraging them to go out, have fun and be happy.Project at VIU
Vancouver Island University has lots of partner schools which they work with directly for in-bound and out-bound exchange students. I designed a more visual way of viewing these partner schools, with their logos locations marked on a map. Mexican food truck logo design. The food trucks original name was La Playa Sayvilita. They wanted to change their style and branding by changing the name to Mexican Food Mafia and wanted a young and fresh logo to illustrate the new name. This Logo is inspired by the Mexican day of the dead while also incorporating food in the facial features.Project at VIU
